This Privacy Policy describes how Alignsys Technology ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the Alignsys mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The Alignsys App is an enterprise document management system (EDMS) designed for use by employees and authorized users within organizations that have licensed the Alignsys platform.

2.1 Information You Provide
- Login credentials (email address and password) used to authenticate your identity within the App.
- Documents and files that you upload, manage, or interact with through the App as part of your organization's document management workflow.
- Electronic signatures applied to documents through the App's eSigning functionality.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:
- Firebase Authentication data: Upon login, Firebase collects your email address, unique user ID (UID), and device information to authenticate your session.
- Firebase Analytics data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect information about how you use the App, including app interactions, session duration, and in-app events. This data helps us understand usage patterns and improve the App.
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Log data: IP address, access times, and pages or features accessed.
2.3 Storage and File Access
The App requests access to your device's storage solely to allow you to select and upload documents to the Alignsys document management system. We do not access, read, or collect any files beyond those you explicitly choose to upload.

We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate your identity and provide you with secure access to your organization's Alignsys vault.
- Enable core App functionality, including document viewing, uploading, management, and eSigning.
- Maintain and improve the App's performance and user experience.
- Monitor usage patterns through Firebase Analytics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the platform and your organization's documents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following parties:
4.1 Google / Firebase
The App uses Firebase (a Google product) for authentication and analytics. By using the App, certain data (including email address, UID, device information, and usage analytics) is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. 4.2 Your Organization
The App is deployed on behalf of your employer or organization. Documents you manage through the App are stored within your organization's Alignsys vault. Your organization's administrators may have access to your activity within the platform as permitted by your organization's policies.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication, which employs industry-standard security practices. Documents stored within the Alignsys platform are encrypted at rest.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the App's services. Authentication data managed by Firebase is retained in accordance with Google's data retention policies. Analytics data is retained for a period of 14 months by default within Firebase Analytics. Documents stored in your organization's vault are retained in accordance with your organization's document retention policy.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable legal obligations.
- Object to or restrict the processing of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Children's Privacy
The Alignsys App is intended for use by professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

The Alignsys App does not display any third-party advertisements. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
